The sport
The Home of Pickle’
The fastest-growing sport in the world, played indoors on championship courts across two Melbourne clubs. Ten minutes to learn. Considerably longer to master.
Why it works
A game that puts a first-timer and a lifelong athlete on the same court, and makes it a fair fight.
01
Easy to start
A smaller court, a lighter ball and an underarm serve. Most people are holding rallies inside their first ten minutes. Thirty thousand players have come through our doors since November 2023.
02
Hard to master
Then comes the non-volley zone, the soft game, the reset and the speed-up. Open Play at The Jar runs from beginner through 4.5, and every rated match at a DUPR Night feeds your rating.
03
Built for four
Doubles is the default. Thirteen courts across two clubs, and you can turn up on your own: we'll sort you a game.
