Padel at HQ. Opening October 2026.
Melbourne still has very few indoor padel courts. Ours sit in Maidstone, in Melbourne's inner west — about ten minutes from Footscray, Yarraville and Sunshine, with on-site parking and all-weather indoor play.
Six glass-walled courts join the nine pickleball courts already here, which makes HQ one of the few places in the country with both sports under one roof.
- 6 indoor courts with full-spec glass walls

Padel, explained
What padel is — and where to play it in Melbourne.
Padel is played in doubles on an enclosed court roughly a third the size of a tennis court, with solid stringless racquets and glass back walls you can play the ball off. Serving is underarm, rallies are long, and most people are holding their own within a single session — which is why it has become the fastest-growing racquet sport in the world.
Not sure whether padel or pickleball is your sport? Padel rewards movement, power and reading the walls; pickleball is quicker to learn and gentler on the body. Our pickleball courts are open now, so you can start there and add padel when it opens.
